A graduate of Clemson University, Rogers joined the White House at the start of Trump’s second term after nearly two years at the Republican National Committee. She has frequently been seen working alongside Leavitt, including appearances in the Oval Office, and maintains an active presence documenting her work within the administration.
Regional Press Secretary Liz Huston is also viewed as a possible candidate. An Indiana University graduate, Huston joined the administration from StateRAMP, where she worked as a program manager following an internship.
While Leavitt has not announced a formal timeline for stepping back from briefings, she has shared personal updates in recent weeks. According to the Daily Mail, Leavitt recently celebrated her baby shower, posting photos alongside her mother, Erin, and close friends.
